Miles Brown who is fondly called Baby Bongaloo, is a popular American actor, dancer and rapper who came to prominence for his rolee as Jack Johnson in the ABC comedy series, Black-ish.
He released his first aong titled NBA and for his effort, he was named one of Hollywood’s top 30 stars under 18 by the Hollywood reporter.
Early Life
Miles Brown was born on December 28, 2004 in Los Angeles, California, United States to parents Wildchild, Cyndee Brown. He also has an older sister.
He is of mixed ethnicity as his father is of African-American while his mother is Filipino and Mexican.
Career
Miles Brown began his career as a dancer where he dance in music videos for “Yeah 3x” and “Loving you is killing me”.
He became a guest on The Ellen Degeneres show at the age of 5, and also became a contestant on the fifth season of America’s got talent as part of the dance duo Future Funk.
As an actor, he had his first role in the dance drama movie, Battlefield America. He also became part of the dance crew Alias Dance Company from 2010 to 2014.
Brown came to limelight in 2014 for his role in the ABC comedy series Black-ish, alongside the likes of Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross.
He made appearance in numerous short films between 2014 and 2016 and by 2018, he was already cast in the main role of the Indie film Boy Genius.
As a rapper, he released his first single “NBA” and competed on the first season of Dancing with the stars: Juniors. He came through with his debut album, We the Future in October 2020. The project boast features from the likes of Slick Rick, Siedah Garrett and Jidenna and production credit from Madlib, Mic Checkmate and Deliv.
