Haaland rejects massive contract offer from Man City as he hopes for rival

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has rejected a £500,000-a-week contract offer from Manchester City.

AS report City put forward a "big offer" to Haaland's agent Mino Raiola and father Alfe-Inge, but it was knocked back by his entourage.

Although it's understood Haaland's rejection of City is "not definitive" and he could still end up joining Pep Guardiola's side.

But Real Madrid remains to be Haaland's preferred destination.

Haaland is said to be "still waiting" for the LaLiga side to make their move as he wants to sign for the club at the end of the current campaign.
