At least 21 players took part in the session at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, according to OwnGoalNigeria.

They were supervised by the coaching crew led by interim technical adviser, Austine Eguavoen and it lasted for almost two hours.

It involved the usual warm up drills and exercises to loosen the players up in preparation for the more serious drills.

After the light exercises, the players split into two groups. One group wore red bibs while the other was in green. Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho was handed the yellow bib as he played as the neutral man.

The drill involved not touching the ball more than twice in tight spaces with emphasis on retaining possession even in tight areas.

New head coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, insisted on “pass, move and receive”.

Below is how they were lined up:

Red: Ekong Osimhen, Musa, Bassey, Shehu, Moses, Etebo, Onyeka, Kenneth,

Yellow: Iheanacho,

Green: Ighalo, Semi, Dennis, Bonke, Aina, Zaidu, Balogun, Aribo, Samuel Chukwueze
