Riqui Puig now closer to leaving Barcelona

Riqui Puig appears closer to leaving Barcelona at the end of the season.

The young midfielder has found himself on the outer of coach Xavi's plans. Indeed, Xavi has fielded Puig less than anyother coach the midfielder has played for.

Puig has been reluctant to leave Barca over the past three transfer windows, convinced he could find a first team place.

But given Xavi's attitude, Sport says Puig is facing the reality of needing to leave Barca this summer.

Puig came through the La Masia system, having been given his debut by Ernesto Valverde.
