Mills expects Milner to take pay-cut to stay at Liverpool
Former Leeds United defender Danny Mills believes James Milner will cut his salary to remain with Liverpool.
The veteran is out of contract in the summer, and has been linked to the likes of Aston Villa in the summer.
However, Mills believes that Milner is very much committed to Liverpool, where he has played 275 games.
"I've been quite surprised about people kicking up a fuss about this," Mills told Football Insider.
"People saying 'I can't believe they're going to give James Milner a new contract, he hardly plays'.
"They're not going to offer him £500,000-a-week, it's going to be relative. I assume it's going to be less than he's earning now.
