Court Orders Ibinabo Fiberesima To Pay N10 million To Ex Beauty Queen Allegedly Cheated

AGN President, Ibinabo Fiberesima has been ordered to pay the sum of N10 million to ex beauty queen – Munachi Chinenye Uzoma who was Miss Earth Nigeria 2011/2012.

Ibinabo is reported to have seized Munachi’s crown and other entitlements after her win.

The beauty queen sued Ibinabo and AMC Productions (organizers of the pageant) for breach in contract after substituting her with the 2nd runner up in the contest.


The overjoyed Uzoma expressed gratitude at the justice passed by the court. “I thank God that the court has granted my request,” she said, adding, “What happened to me is unfortunate. I contested when I was young and I am 25 now, my dream was almost shattered. I am happy. You will be surprised to know what happens behind the scenes in every Beauty pageant. Thank God my case has been justified.”


The case against Ibinabo was filed on the 29th of August, 2012.

The actress is still facing sentencing for her reckless driving which led to the death of Dr. Giwa Suraj in February 2006.
