Audu’s Sons Reacts To APC’s Alleged Choice Of Bello As Governorship Candidate
Mohammed Audu, the eldest son of the late Prince Abubakar Audu has reacted to reports making round that Yahaya Bello, the runner up in the APC primary election, has been selected as the party’s governorship candidate in the supplementary poll slated for this weekend.
Speaking at a news conference in his hometown, Ofu local government area of the state, Mohammaed said he hasn’t been informed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) of the party’s replacement following the death of his father.
He however declined to speak further on the issue because it was the Eighth day prayer for his father.
“Any attempt to replace him while the mourning period is on-going is a backyard move.
“Our mission here is to pray for the repose of his soul.
It is too soon to be discussing politics. I will like us to focus more on the mourning.
“As you can see, people are still wearing long faces,”he said.
