Arsenal, Newcastle made attempts for PSG midfielder Wijnaldum
PSG midfielder Gini Wijnaldum refused offers to return to England on Monday.
The former Liverpool ace was being linked with several Premier League clubs during the January market, but ultimately stayed as the deadline fell.
Local transfer expert Saber Desfarges reports Arsenal and former club Newcastle both made attempts during the day - but the Dutchman couldn't be persuaded.
Wijnaldum has a deal with PSG to 2024.
