Netflix’s Animated Rabbids Special Gets Trailer

Ahead of its release on February 18, 2022, the Netflix animated special Rabbids Invasion Special: Mission to Mars received a new trailer highlighting some of the antics the Rabbids will be getting into.

The new trailer teases the mission that the Rabbids will be undertaking, as the group prepares to set off for Mars in order to help minimize any potential threats that may arise from the planet.

“An unlikely team of Rabbids are on the mission of a lifetime to Mars. It’s up to them to come together and stop the galaxy’s newest threat,” reads the official synopsis from the upcoming film. The Rabbids craze has only continued to grow since they first debuted in 2006, with Ubisoft also set to partner with Lionsgate on a feature film based on the characters as well.

The Rabbids initially made their debut in 2006’s Rayman Raving Rabbids, but quickly became a fan-favorite. The group then got its own franchise in 2009’s Rabbids Go Home, and have appeared in a variety of properties ever since, most notably in the 2017 game Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
