Ajax kickoff plans over sensational move for Barcelona striker Depay
Ajax have made contact with Barcelona striker Memphis Depay about a shock return to Holland.
TMW says intermediaries for Ajax have begun talks with Depay's camp about a loan move to Amsterdam for the former PSV Eindhoven striker.
Depay is on the outer of Barca coach Xavi's plans and is available this month.
Ajax have started the ball rolling about a loan deal for the Holland international, with talks between the two clubs to kickoff next week.
For his part, Depay is reluctant to leave Barca, having just arrived last summer from Lyon.
