Martin Odegaard is set to return for Arsenal against Liverpool on Thursday.
The Carabao Cup semi-final second leg - with the tie evenly poised at 0-0 - is set to go ahead despite Arsenal having last Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham postponed.
Goal says Odegaard has returned to training after testing positive for Covid-19.
Mikel Arteta could also welcome back Takehiro Tomiyasu and Emile Smith Rowe to face the Reds.
Bukayo Saka, Kieran Tierney and Calum Chambers all picked up knocks in the first leg but could be back for the return clash.
