Chelsea are considering a move for Barcelona fullback Serginio Dest.

The Daily Starsays the Dutchman is being considered as an alternative for Lucas Digne.

Everton left-back Digne is currently being shopped around, with Newcastle United very keen on his signature.

Should the Blues miss out on the France international, Dest is another player that could turn too.

The American international has been primarily used at right-back by Barcelona, but is capable playing on the left.

The west London club would need to spend around £30m to lure Dest from Camp Nou.
