Man Utd in contact with AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie

Manchester United are interested in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

Kessie is off contract at the end of the season and so far has refused to consider new terms tabled by the Rossonero.

La Gazzetta della Sport says United are in contact with Kessie as they consider the Ivory Coast international as a replacement for Paul Pogba. For the moment, United are exploring taking Kessie on a Bosman deal at the end of the season.

For their part, Milan are becoming increasingly resigned to losing Kessie and have identified Lille midfielder Renato Sanches as a readymade replacement.

Portugal international Sanches is also interesting Arsenal.
