Man Utd striker Cavani still waiting for Barcelona call

Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani's interest in a move to Barcelona has been played down.

While press claims have stated the two parties are in talks about Cavani making a free transfer to Barca next month, those close to the player are suggesting otherwise.

Sources close to Cavani have told Mundo Deportivo that no approach has been fielded from Barca.

Indeed, it's also been revealed the Catalans are aware of the striker's interest, but are yet to put together any offer for his consideration.

It's suggested for any move to happen, Barca will have to make room in their wage budget for his arrival.
