Security Beefed Up At National Assembly Ahead Of Inauguration

The police high command have beefed up security in and around the premises of the National Assembly ahead of the inauguration of the 8th Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.


The measures are aimed at forestalling possible crisis during the event and also ensure that the premises was safe for President Muhammadu Buhari, incoming lawmakers, as well as, other people that will be at the event, Vanguard learnt.


Buhari, who is away in Germany for the G7 Summit is expected back in the country, in time for the inauguration of the National Assembly.
