Aghayedo Kelvins Eghosa ( born March 25, 1983) professionally known as Eghe Nimose is a Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter and producer well known for his musical style of an infusion of Congolese Rumba, reggae and dub while having a feel of Highlife and Afrobeat. He came to prominence for his hit single “Let You Go”, which is a captivating dancehall song and a potential party starter. He is also a multi-instrumentalist who plays the guitar and piano.

Early Life

Eghe Nimose was born on March 25, 1983 in Edo State. He grew up with his siblings in the city of Benin, as the second child in a family of 5. His father, Mike Oyomoare, is a retired Nigerian Naval Officer while his mother, Stella, is a Spanish based business woman.

He attended Arinze Primary School and Immaculate Conception for both his primary and secondary education respectively. He went to the University of Benin. He is also studying for his Masters in Software Engineering at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, (Nigeria) and an M.Ba (Masters in Business Administration) with UNICAF.

Career

Eghe Nimose began doing music in his local church where he was a choir member and a music director.

He has been able to developed his passion for music with influences from the likes Cynthia Morgan (Madrina), Shaggy, and other Congolese sensations such as Fally Ipupa, Koffi Olomide, Sam Magwana and many others.

He eventually came to limelight for his hit single “Let You Go” and gained more exposure for his debut album “RumbaDub” featuring U.S rapper, Wordplay Tjay and the Nigerian singer, SOJ Da Legend.

RumbaDub is a 5 track EP which was released on December 3, 2021, under Miracle World Entertainment, a Bordeaux based record label owned by his friend, Lucky Obazee. The EP is a self produced project with contributions from Darock Peter.

He released the much anticipated video for his single “Fiekun” in December 2021. The song is also part of his extended play project “RumbaDub”.

Aside music, he is also into computing and technology, where he majored in software development. He is the founder of EntriFlex technologies, a software and tech firm based in Abuja, Nigeria. The firm are the developers of enterprise applications which include the likes of Profitaa BPM and Hospital Software, HospiCare.

The RumbaDub Master as fondly called, is fast becoming a force to reckon with in the music industry with Love, romance and mysteries being the focal point of most of his songs.
