Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was tightlipped about Ferran Torres' situation yesterday.
Torres is the subject of an offer from Barcelona ahead of the January market.
Asked about the midfielder, Guardiola said: “It's better to ask Txiki Begiristain (City sporting director) about this, or Ferran's agent, or Barcelona.
"I'm not the one who should be discussing this. We contact players from other clubs if we are interested in them, so I understand the situation.
"I would prefer that everything was not so, but, unfortunately, everything is as it is."
