Clarion Nneka Oluwatoyin Folashade Chukwura (born July 24, 1964) popularly known as Clarion Chukwura, is an award winning Nigerian actress. She came to prominence for her role in television series “Mirror in the Sun”. She is also known for other TV series like Super Story and Ripples.
Early Life
Clarion Chukwurah was born on July 24, 1964 in Lagos part of Nigeria, where she had her elementary education.
She is the only daughter in a family of four and originally from Anambra, South eastern part of Nigeria.
She went to Queen of the Rosary College, Onitsha and also studied Acting and Speech at the Department of Dramatics Arts of Obafemi Awolo University.
Career
Chukwura started acting in 1980 and came to limelight for her role in the soap opera “Mirror in the sun”. She followed up with roles in other television series such as; Super Story and Ripples.
She acts in both Yoruba and English movies and some of them include; Yemoja, Forbidden Choice, Igbotic Love, Apaye and so on.
She has acted alongside the likes of Desmond Elliot, Joke Silva, Ini Edo and many others.

Clarion Chukwura had a relationship with the afro-juju singer, Sir Shina Peters and they have a son named Clarence Peters.
Clarence Peters is an award winning Nigerian cinematographer. He has shot videos for top musicians in the country which include the likes of Olamide, Kizz Daniel, Don Jazzy, Psquare, Reekado Banks and so on.
Clarion got married for the third time to Anthony Boyd, in 2016.

Clarion was recognized as a United Nations Peace Amnassador for her Charity work across Africa.
She also became the first Nigerian to win the Best Actress Category at the 1982 FESPACO film festival in Burkina Faso.
