Popular OAP, Tosyn Bucknor Found Dead In Lagos

Inspiration FM’s on-air personality, Tosyn Bucknor has died. According to reports, Tosyn was found dead at her home in Lagos by her husband after returning from work.


The news has also been confirmed by her radio colleague, Wale Adegun, via his twitter account.
Wale wrote; “So full of life, excitement and always willing to lend a helping hand. This is so devastating!! Rest on Voice of Lagos. Rest on Tosyn Bucknor.”


Onome Obruthe-Bucknor who happens to be her sister’s husband has also confirmed the news of the demise of the media personality.


However, comprehensive reports about the cause of her death is yet to be known, but we can gather from our reports that she used to be a sickle cell anaemia patient until her death.


Tosyn was a graduate of law from the University of Lagos, she got married in November 2015 to Aurelien Boyer in a traditional wedding attended by family and friends in Lagos.


Tosyn started her OAP career with Tee-A at Eko Fm. She was also once an intern at Cool Fm where she hosted the “Fun Hour Show” on Saturdays.


Bucknor started working with Top Radio after her youth service in 2009 as the only female handling a morning show.


She was nominated for several awards that included ELOY Awards, Future Awards and Best of Nollywood.


Until her death, Tosyn worked as a vlogger and as a staff at Inspiration FM.
