Serie A: Cannavaro predicts club to win title, hails Osimhen

Former Juventus defender, Fabio Cannavaro, has backed Napoli to win the Serie A title this year.

Cannavaro also labelled Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, as a ‘power horse’ who knows how to hurt opponents.

Last season, Inter Milan won the Serie A title ahead of Napoli, AC Milan and Juventus.

“This Napoli are solid,” Cannavaro told Tribal Football.

“They can win the Scudetto [Serie A]. But beware of the two sides from Milan [AC and Inter].”

He added, “Spalletti’s team looks like a wall at times and have different solutions. Osimhen was thought to be a crazy horse, but in the box, he knows how to hurt the opponents.

“Never rule out Juventus, they know how to manage the difficult moments and will be able to return.”

Cannavaro guided Italy to World Cup victory in 2006, winning the Ballon d’Or in the same year.
