Here is how to share a Wi-Fi password from iPhone and Apple devices.

Sharing a Wi-Fi password on iPhone

• First, it's important that you and your friend have each other's Apple IDs saved in your contacts.

• Next make sure your device is unlocked and connected to the Wi-Fi netowrk.

• Both devices also need to have Wi-Fi and bluetooth turned on, but personal hotspot turned off.

• On the receiving device, select the network you want to connect to.

• Your device should now receive a notification asking if you want to share the Wi-Fi password.

• Tap share password and then tap done.

As you can see, the process is straightforward and quick and in most cases will take a matter of seconds. No more worrying about upper and lowercase letters or reaching around the back of the router for the password.

Share your Wi-Fi password with or to an iPad or Macbook
