TOO BAD!!! JUNGLE JUSTICE:- Angry Mobs Kill Suspected Thief In Jigawa State

Angry mob have meted out jungle Justice on suspected domestic animal thieves at Yandamo Fulani settlement, in Sule-tankarkar local Government area of Jigawa State.

According to an eyewitness who preferred anonymity, the incident happened yesterday when a number of angry youths from Amanga Village traced footprints of their stolen domestic animals to the house of one Alh Umaru Sale in Yandamo Fulani settlement.

The mob decided to engage in jungle Justice by attacking three persons- Babangida Umaru, Amadu Sale and Manu Babangida suspected to be the thieves of the animals.

He said as s result, they sustained various degree of injuries.

Police spokesman of the command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.

He said some angry mob traced their stolen animals at Yandamo Fulani settlement and attacked three persons suspected to be the thieves and took to their heels.

Shiisu said a team of policemen rushed to the scene and the victims were rushed to Sule Tankarkar primary health care for medical treatment.

He said one of the victims, Ahmadu Sale Died while receiving treatment as a result of the attack.

The police spokesman said eight persons have been arrested over the attack.

He said the state commissioner of Police, CP A S Tafida directs that the case should be transferred to SCID Dutse, for discreet investigation.
