Everton face losing Richarlison for next two Premier League matches
Liverpool, Everton and other Premier League clubs may lose key players for up to two games in the coming weeks.
Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Fabinho for Liverpool and Richarlison for Everton are at risk due to covid fears.
Per the Liverpool Echo, players who depart for international duty may then have to isolate on their return to the UK.
FIFA has ended a temporary exemption rule that meant clubs could refuse to release players for international duty if they had to isolate on their return.
That means players would have to report for duty, which means the likes of Richarlison, Salah, Becker, Firmino and Fabinho may have to quarantine for ten days as they get back to the UK.
That would lead to them missing two Premier League games for their respective sides.
