Varane pushing Solskjaer for Man Utd start against Leeds
Raphael Varane is pushing Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to start him against Leeds United on Saturday.
The Manchester Evening News says Varane is eager to make his mark at United.
The French centre-back won much silverware during his time at Real Madrid, including four Champions League trophies.
But he's looking for a new challenge in the Premier League and is looking to win a title with Solskjaer's Red Devils.
Varane has big plans for United's first game of the season against bitter rivals Leeds on Saturday.
The defender wants to stake his claim for the first team and hopefully forge a strong partnership with Harry Maguire from day one.
