Barcelona's coffers will take a heavy hit from Lionel Messi's departure.

Messi and Barca announced the superstar's departure on Sunday after the collapse of new contract talks.

On Tuesday morning it emerged that Leo and his family were on a jet bound for Paris ahead of entering talks with PSG in the afternoon.

Okdiario reports Barca face a loss of €137m in brand value after splitting with their greatest ever player.

The losses will be made on commercial and match day income, sale of shirts and merchandising.

Of the 137 million euros of potential loss, 77 would go in commercial income, 17 by the income from matchday and results on the field of play and, finally, 43 million in sales of shirts.
