Liverpool fullback Beck wins big praise from Klopp, Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool fullback Owen Beck has impressed teammates and coaching staff during this summer's preseason.

The great nephew of Reds great Ian Rush, Beck has won praise from manager Jurgen Klopp and senior teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold.

"Owen is a super talent, I am really excited about him," said Klopp.

Alexander-Arnold, meanwhile, also said: "He has impressed many of us with the way he is. He is still growing, he is still maturing as a guy, he has a lot to learn but the signs are there that he will become a top player.

"He obviously has Robbo (Andrew Robertson) and Kostas (Tsimikas) in front of him - hopefully he will be able to pick things up and learn from them. He got the chance and took it."
