Arsenal waiting for Real Madrid green light to 'buy Odegaard'

Arsenal are ready to move for Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard.

Odegaard spent the second-half of last season on-loan with Arsenal and has been doing preseason with Real Madrid.

Real management are rethinking their plans for the Norway international and could now cash in on the midfielder.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated: "Arsenal are still keeping an eye on Martin Ødegaard. He's always been the main target as number 10 - if he decides to leave Real and Real decides to sell him, Arsenal will bid for Ødegaard.

"Arsenal would be ready to try also for a permanent move... but it's up to Real."
