The first new unveiled housemate at this year’s BBNaija reality TV show was Boma Martins Akpore who is simply known as Boma.

This was after the show was launched on July 24 with all the guys who will be appearing on the show being unveiled.

This year’s launch is in two parts as the ladies will be unveiled on July 25 with the theme for this year being, SHINE YA EYE.

After Boma was unveiled, we discovered some interesting facts about him and per our checks, he is the only housemate who is currently verified on Instagram and he has over 200,000 followers.

He was born in Lagos and per what we gathered, he is the only child of his parents, however, he is an indigene from two Nigerian states, Delta and Rivers as his parents hail from these states.

He is an actor, a soccer star, and a model. According to him, he represented Nigeria for Mr. imperial Universe 2016 and won Best Body Imperial Universe in 2016.

From modeling, he decided to go into soccer as he had always wanted and this opened the gates to play Semi-Pro in Europe. Before signing pro, he indicated that he experienced an injury that ensured that his soccer dreams were curtailed.

He then went to New York where he enrolled in New York Film Academy to take his acting career to another level.

As a model, he was the youngest model to participate in the Nigerian Fashion Week in 2004 and his biggest fear is not living up to his fullest potential.
