Segilola Ogidan (October 9, 1985) is a Nigerian actress, writer and movie producer. She came to limelight for her outstanding role as Tonye in the film “The Men’s Club”. She is also known for directing the movie “Tainted Canvas”.
Segilola Ogidan was born on October 9, 1985 in Arigidi Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. She grew up in a Christian family.
She went to Laurel Nursery and Primary School and Vivian Fowler School for girls in Surulere, Lagos for both her primary and secondary education respectively.
She obtained a bachelors degree in Media Arts from the Royal Holloway University, London and a Masters degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Bristol, UK.
Segilola started acting in the church where she took up stage plays. She worked in a film sales and distribution company in London before she eventually got a role in a series in 2009.
She owns a production company called, OKP Productions.
Segilola has starred in and produced lots of movies. She’s been credited for the likes of “Mona”, “Mum, Dad, Meet Sam”, “Tainted Canvas” and of course “The Men’s Club” which brought her to limelight.
She has worked with the likes of Tina Mba, Efa Iwara, Kehinde Bankole, Mawuli Gavor, Meg Otanwa, Baaj Adebule and so on.
Segilola got married to Bola Ogidan in September 2012 and blessed with children.
