Juventus announce Arthur facing three months out of action
Juventus have announced Arthur Melo is facing three months out of action.
Juve released a statement confirming that Arthur had surgery on his right leg and will be out of action for three months.
The Brazilian had originally sustained the injury in February, but rather than heal, the tear in the membrane hardened and became calcified.
A statement released by Juventus confirms 'the recovery time is approxamately three months.'
“This afternoon Arthur underwent surgery to remove the ossification of the interosseous membrane of his right leg.
“The operation, performed by Dr. Piana and Dr. Battiston, in the presence of the Juventus health officer Dr. Stefanini at the Fornaca clinic in Turin, was successful.
“The recovery time is approximately 3 months."
