Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz has extended his stay at AC Milan, where he was on loan last season.
The new loan arrangement is for two more years without an option to buy, and the Italians will pay €4m for the deal.
His good performances have impressed in the Italian capital and he will stay there for two more seasons before returning to Madrid.
Hakan Calhanoglu, now of Inter Milan, leaving has opened the doors to Brahim to stay, and in fact become the heir to his No 10 shirt.
It's similar to the Martin Odegaard loan to Real Sociedad, Madrid reserve an option to bring him back at the end of the first year if the three parties agree.
