Arsenal have reached personal terms with Brighton defender Ben White.

The Daily Star says Arsenal are closing in on a final deal for White after agreeing personal terms with the Brighton star.

The defender is top of the wish list at the Emirates after the departure of David Luiz in the summer.

His contract ran out at the end of the season and has been an integral part of the first-team for Mikel Arteta.

It leaves the Spaniard with a gaping hole in his backline but he hopes to replace the Brazilian with White, who has had an astronomical rise in recent times.
