DID YOU KNOW? Beating Your Kids With Cane Is A Sin (See Why)
Personally, I think discipline teaches kids to avoid sinful behavior (not the biblical sin in this context) and there’s nothing wrong spanking a child when he or she does something bad.
However, I think we are doing it the wrong way. You don’t have to beat your kids with cane. What did the Bible says about spanking a child?
“Whoever spares the ROD hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.” Proverbs 13:24.
“Do not with- hold discipline from your son; if you beat him with a ROD, he will not die” (Prov 23:13).
So you see, the Bible said we should use ROD and not CANE. Below picture is what a rod look like.
