Roma and Arsenal hit deadlock over Xhaka fee
Roma and Arsenal have hit a deadlock over talks for Granit Xhaka.
The former Gunners captain is eager to make the move to Jose Mourinho's Roma, but negotiations over a fee have stalled.
Corriere dello Sport says Arsenal are demanding £17m while Roma are currently not willing to go higher than £12.8m.
Xhaka himself is thought to have agreed terms with Roma, and is keen to make the switch to Serie A.
But it remains to be seen if the two clubs can reach an agreement, and it is believed the deal is not likely to be made official anytime soon.
