Real Madrid making final contract offer to Sergio Ramos
Real Madrid are making a final contract offer to Sergio Ramos this week.
Off contract at the end of this month, Ramos met with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez on Friday in attempt to clear the air.
AS says Ramos is eager to renew negotiations since, to this day, he does not have anyother offer on the table.
On the other hand, Real Madrid have decided that although the offer they made for a renewal has already expired, they are willing to keep it on the table if the defender is receptive.
Real Madrid are returning to the table amid concern they will be forced to sell Raphael Varane this summer as the Frenchman refuses to consider new contract talks. His current deal expires at the end of next season.
Real Madrid have not adjusted their last offer to Ramos, which is a reduction on his current €12m salary. For the moment, it is basically a 'take-it-or-leave-it' proposition for Ramos to consider.
