Early Life

Melody Holt was born on November 11, 1985 in Brundidge, Alabama. She is of Afro American heritage.

Her parents were never married and that led to Melody’s mother, Vanessa Rodgers Tracy being in the centre of rumours as she was said to be the former side chick of Melody’s father.

She obtained a degree in English/ Language teacher arts education at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.

Career

Prior to fame she has worked as a motivational speaker and also has a license in home building.

She was an English teacher in 2007 before she founded Holt & Holt alongside her husband. Both have been able to build the company into a multi-million dollar business in just few years. Holt & Holt specialized in Lawn care, property restoration, rehab and preservation.

She is also an ambassador for the city of Birmingham and Covenant Healthshare. She was recording her first single in February 2021 before she promised to do an entire EP.

Personal Life

She met her husband, Martell Holt while working as a teacher. They got married and has 4 children before they finally went their separate ways.
