Ericka Coulter was born on October 29 in Kansas City where she was raised.

She’s based in LA where she obtained a degree in Fashion merchandising and originally from Kansas city.

Career

Ericka grew up listening to gospel music. She had tried to be an artist where she had some sketchy managers but that didn’t work out well.

She began her career after her first music-centric intenship at Interscope Records in 2007 which was followed up with her first full time position as an assistant in rhythmic radio in 2008. She later became an executive assistant for Step Johnson, former president of Urban music at IGA.

She came to limelight as the VP of A&R at Empire Records.

She has the vision to connect emerging talent to the right channel.

She has worked with top artists which include the likes of Lady Gaga, Mary J Blige, Keyshia Cole and so on. She also worked on Rick Ross album, Rather You Than Me.

She is also the CEO and founder of Instor3 INC. Management and branding through which she launched The Basement in August 2017.
