Bucci Franklin has his full name as Onyebuchi Franklin Odurukwe. He is a famous Nigerian actor, model, OAP and television presenter who has featured in several Nollywood movies.

He was born on June 9 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Year of his birth is however not known. Bucci hails from Nkwerre in Imo State, in south eastern Nigeria.

Educational Background

Bucci Franklin had his primary education at Bereton Primary School and New Covenant Secondary School both in Rivers State respectively.

He later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Abuja, Nigeria. Bucci was very active on stage performances in his University days.

Acting Career

Bucci made it into the entertainment world immediately after his graduation from the University, when he was a presenter at Multi-Mesh Broadcasting Company, owners of Love FM 104.5 Abuja.

While there, Bucci co-anchored the “Morning Show” and independently anchored “Abuja on the Move” for 5years.

Bucci made his debut presentation on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) where he was the host of a TV program called “Rising Stars”.

He was also one of the pioneers of the spellbinding TV Magazine program aired on Africa Independent Television (A.I.T), which centered on the invigorating Abuja lifestyle.
