Bologna announce departure of defender Danilo

Bologna have announced the departure of 37 year-old defender Danilo.

One day after announcing the farewell of veteran Rodrigo Palacio, the club has confirmed Danilo will follow the Argentine out the door.

“After 102 appearances and three goals with Bologna, spread over the last three seasons, Danilo Larangeira's adventure in Rossoblu ends," the club wrote in a statement.

“Bologna's special thanks goes to him for the professionalism and commitment he demonstrated to our colours over the years."

Danilo played 35 Serie A games in his last season with the Rossoblu.
