Arsenal have gone cold on Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Bissouma, 24, has been heavily linked to both the Gunners and Liverpool after another fine campaign for Graham Potter's side, with the asking price reportedly set at £40million.
And football reporter Fabrizio Romano indicated Liverpool may now lead the race for the Mali international.
He said: "I'm told he's not the hottest name for Arsenal, you know. They are looking for something different."
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta had reportedly viewed Bissouma as the perfect midfield partner for Thomas Partey, but may now be looking for a player with different strengths.
