Leicester rival Arsenal for Southampton fullback Ryan Bertrand

Leicester City are making a move for Southampton fullback Ryan Bertrand.

TalkSPORT says Leicester are set to hijack any Arsenal attempt to sign Bertrand.

Bertrand has confirmed he will leave Southampton this summer, and the Gunners have been linked with the 31-year-old as manager Mikel Arteta needs left-back cover for Kieran Tierney.

But Leicester are ready to get in the way of Arteta's plans by offering the 31-year-old a 12-month contract.

And Arsenal could also face competition from AC Milan as well as the FA Cup winners.
