A viral throwback interview of Nigerian singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido speaking highly of his colleague, Wizkid, has resurfaced on the internet.

The interview was carried out during the formative period of the singer, Davido in the music industry.

The DMW Boss has gone ahead to become one of the most sought-after musicians on the African continent with multiple awards and several hit songs.

In the video, he disclosed that even though Wizkid is huge and has his own style, he cannot go with the same style, the reason why he created his own part and identity. Hence, it made him wake up every morning saying there’s someone else better than him, so it kept him on his feet.

The father of three was also heard saying that the likes of Wizkid, Wande Coal, and Don Jazzy were huge support as he climbed up the ladder in the music industry.
