Netflix confirms it will release first 15 minutes of Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead early
Army of the Dead, the highly-anticipated zombie heist movie from Zack Snyder, is coming to Netflix on May 21, which is just under two weeks away.
But the streaming giant are going to make the wait more bearable by releasing the first 15 minutes of the film early (which might make the wait worse depending on where the preview ends, but that's the gamble you take).
The official Netflix Film Twitter account explained how it's going to work, tweeting: "If you want to unlock the first 15 minutes of #ArmyOfTheDead you're going to have to do some digging (literally). RETWEET this tweet for updates on an exclusive look at the film on May 13th, 10AM PT."
The film is spawning its own extended universe of content, with an anime-esque spin-off titled Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas and a prequel series called Army of Thieves, starring Game of Thrones' Nathalie Emmanuel and Man Like Mobeen's Guz Khan, both in the works.
In the latest issue of Digital Spy magazine, we go in deep on Army of the Dead, with director Zack Snyder talking about how both of these spin-offs first came about.
Leading star Dave Bautista also talks about why he turned down a rule in The Suicide Squad that James Gunn had written specifically for him in order to do the film.
