Baba Ijesha whose real name is Olarenwaju Omiyinka is an award winning Nigerian Comedian, actor and movie producer born on October 8,1972 He is well known for his role in Yoruba movies which include she likes of Afefe Ife, Opolo, Ololo Masun and many others.

Early Life & Career

He originally hails from Ile-Ife part of Osun State in Nigeria.

He started his acting career in the 80’s and came through professionally after relocating to Lagos.

He came to limelight for his comic roles on yoruba movies.

Baba Ijesha was accused of molesting a 14 year old girl by the Nigerian comedian cum actress, Damilila Adekoya well known as Princess where she revealed that she was the guardian of the girl who was allegedly raped.

According to Premium Times, the Lagos State police command arrested the actor for allegedly raping a minor.

The actress cum comedian had stated clearly that her colleague only raped the minor twice as opposed the 7 years claim by the police.
