Efe Irele was born as Efeilomo Michelle Irele. She is a Nigerian actress and a model.

She was born on the 4th of September in Lagos to an Edo father and Itsekiri mother from Delta state. The year of her birth is not known, but Efe hails from Edo State.

Educational Background

Efe Irele had her primary school in Corona Primary School, Gbagada, Lagos and three secondary schools, finally at Queens College Yaba, Lagos. She proceeded to Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State where she bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

She later enrolled at the University of Chester in London to have a Master in Human Resource Management.

Career

Efe began her career upon her return to Lagos from the UK. She worked briefly as Human Resource manager in a procurement company. There she realized that her suitable place was in the entertainment industry and started event management company.

Efe began as a model, modeling for big companies. She also featured for top Nigerian actresses like Adekunle’s Gold’s Sade video and Burna Boy’s Like to Party video in 2012.

Efe Irele ventured into acting profession with strong determination to succeed. After having series of auditions, she got a role in a movie “Aso Ebi” which got converted to TV series.

Efe set up Efe Irele Austism Foundation in 2017 and inaugurated with a programme called Christmas with the Family, an annual event to cater for people living with the disease.
