Fred Nii Amugi is a renowned Ghanaian actor, known for his roles in Beasts of No Nation, Holby City and The Cursed Ones.
He was born November 5, 1948 at Teshie, Accra, Ghana.
Educational Background
Fred Amugi attended Broaks Basic and Junior High School, Takoradi Senior High School and Nungua Senior High school respectively.
He later studied Certificate in Supplies and Materials Management at University of Ghana, Legon.
Career
Fred Amugi was a Civil servant for thirty-three years and served as Acting Director of Supply in Ghana’s Ministry of Finance before he made a career in acting.
Amugi began his acting career in 1970 in Drama and Documentaries until 1985.
Fred made his first debut in the movie, “Opinto”, but was shot to limelight in television series.
