Pascaline Edwards is a famous Ghanaian actress with several movies to her credit and winner of Ghana’s Best Female Actress in 2002.
She was born in 1970 in Lomé, Togo but relocated to Ghana in 1986 where she had her higher education.
Pascaline attended Ghanatta Senior High School in Ghana where she obtained her secondary school certificate. Nothing more is known about her educational background.
Pascaline kick-started her journey into acting at a young age when she used to perform stage drama in the early 1990s as a member of one of Ghana’s top acting groups, the Talent Drama Group.
She began acting professionally with a movie, ‘Diabolo’ in 1993.
In 1995, Pascaline went back to stage acting and her major break came with series of classic performances when she featured in Emancipation Day celebrations to commemorate the abolition of slavery in Ghana.
The talented actress played the role of Fathia Nkrumah, wife of Ghana’s first President Dr Kwame Nkrumah in a drama staged during the celebrations and played the role of the wife of former slave trader who was active in abolition of the slave trade abolition in the drama.
Edwards has also starred in several Nollywood (Nigerian) movies with Journey of the Dead (2001).
