Peju Johnson is a famous Yoruba Nollywood actress, model and an entrepreneur who has featured in several Nollywood Yoruba movies.
She was born and raised in Ile Ife, Osun state. She is the third child in a family of five children.
Educational Background
Peju had her primary education at Community Primary School and Kingswill College, both in Ile Ife, Osun State where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
Upon graduation from secondary school, Peju stayed briefly in Shagamu, Ogun State before she moved to Egypt to stay with her sister.
Acting Career
Peju Johnson’ acting career began while living in Egypt.
Two years after arriving in Egypt, Peju joined Egypt’s branch of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) in Cairo and had the bulk of training in acting.
Peju Johnson returned to Nigeria in December 2016, after staying in Egypt for about five years and eventually made a full career in acting, a dream she nursed from her early age.
Peju Johnson met a popular Yoruba actor and movie producer, Kehinde Adeyemi and her journey into acting became fully realized as the mentor helped her find her feet in Nollywood.
In 2018, Peju made her debut professionally in a Nollywood movie.
