David Oscar Dogbe is a popular Ghanaian musician, actor and comedian, known for leading the movement GHComedy that fought to gain visibility and acceptance for an upcoming Ghanaian Stand-up comedians.

He was born 16 April 1984 at Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana to Mr Oscar Yaovi Adukpo and Mrs Faustina Mary Asamoah Adukpo. He has 3 siblings.

Educational Background

David had his Primary and Junior High School education at Freeman Methodist School in Koforidua, Pope John Senior High School and Junior Seminary where he studied Visual Arts.

David Oscar later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana in 2007.

David Oscar began his career as a comedian in Ghana, very hilarious and making people laugh.

In 2006, David was voted Ghana’s Best Comedy Icon when he participated in the comedy reality series “Stars of the Future” that was organized by Charter House Ghana while still in the University.
