Biography & Career Of Nkiru Umeh

Nkiru Umeh, also fondly called Angel Nikky is a popularly known talented Nollywood actress, model and entrepreneur, currently making waves in the movie industry.

She was born on July 29 in Anambra State, though year of her birth is not known. Nkiru Umeh hails from Uga community in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state in south eastern Nigeria.

Educational Background

Nkiru had her primary and secondary education in her community, Aguata, Anambra state, where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.

She went further to have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration at the University of Lagos. She has since remained very active and relevant in the Nigerian movie industry.

Acting Career

Nkiru Umeh made entry into Nollywood some years back and has remained prominent in the industry, playing amazingly intriguing roles in movies.

She was shot to fame and recognition in Nollywood after she featured in the popular movie titled, “Egg Seller”.

Nkiru has so far starred in several Nollywood movies, some of which are:

• Who Won the Battle?

• Pastor Lazarus among numerous others.

Nkiru is an epitome of beauty, creative and highly talented Nollywood star. She is gifted in interpreting movie roles and can fit properly into any character given to her except nude and romantic roles because of her virtue of being a married woman.

She has starred alongside top Nollywood celebrities like Ngozi Ezeonu, Patience Nzokwor, Nkem Owoh and many others.

The talented Nollywood star revealed in an interview, that the movie ‘Who Won the Battle?’ was most challenging because the movie’s location was inside the bush.

Aside acting, Angel Nikky as she is fondly called is also an entrepreneur. She owns a beauty Complex, which deals in all kinds of cosmetics and clothing located in Lagos.

Setback

Recently, Nkiru Umeh revealed how she and her family narrowly escaped death at the Sunday morning Abule Ado explosion which destroyed lives and properties.

The Nollywood actress was one of the people affected by the explosion

and expressed gratitude to Almighty God through her instagram page for sparing her life and her family. Sadly, she lost two houses and other valuables to the explosion.

Personal Life

Nkiru Umeh happily got married to her lovely husband at the young age of seventeen and their marriage is blessed with four children, 3 boys and a girl.

In an interview, the talented star revealed that her husband sometimes go with her to their movie shooting locations.
